Mike Fiber has been appointed CEO of destination management and events conglomerate PRA. He replaces Tony Lorenz, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities, according to a company statement. Lorenz helmed PRA for four years. During his tenure, the firm was rebranded from AlliedPRA to PRA and added several companies to its portfolio, including event and communications agency One Smooth Stone. PRA, which was acquired by private-equity firm CI Capital Partners in 2017, is based in Chicago and has 28 offices throughout North America.

Fiber joined PRA in 2017 as chief operating officer; in his role, he headed all of the firm's business operations. Prior to joining PRA, he served as vice president of operations for PSAV Presentation Services, a global provider of event technology services.

"I am very excited to lead this incredible business into the future and build upon the solid foundation of success that Tony created," said Fiber in a statement. "We have the most talented and passionate team in the industry, all of whom are dedicated to our craft of designing and delivering the very best transformative business event experiences."
