hinton+grusich Connect Planners Online
March 09, 2009
hinton+grusich's new Web site and online tools streamline the meeting and incentive site selection, booking process
hinton+grusich (h+g), a leading national sales organization that represents upscale meeting hotels, destinations and hospitality suppliers, announced the unveiling of its new online tools and Web site, www.hintonandgrusich.com.

Redesigned with input from both meeting planners and hospitality partners, the Web site offers enhanced features and communications tools which facilitate the meeting site selection and booking process: A searchable database of h+g hotel and industry supplier partners; an RFP tool that electronically submits the event details to specified hotels and suppliers; a partner and industry news section; a blog containing destination insight, planner tips and related contributions from the entire h+g team; specials and promotional offers from partners; and a monthly newsletter offering a snapshot of detailed information found on the Web site.

The process of finding the perfect site for an event or meeting begins with the h+g searchable database of hotels and industry suppliers. Using one or more criteria such as preferred region, amenities and number of rooms, users can narrow the search for a destination or a hotel that meets their specific needs. A clickable map and drop down menus help expedite the selection process.

Once the desired hotel or destination is found through the search function, planners can immediately submit a "Request for Proposal" through the site's RFP Tool, outlining the meeting requirements in order to receive availability and rates from the supplier.

The new h+g site also serves as a resource for news and information that supports clients as they plan and execute their meetings. The "news" section now furnishes pertinent updates from its hospitality partners, including renovation news and recent accolades. Visitors can also find the latest news affecting the meetings and travel industry.

Kevin Hinton, principal of h+g says, "The enhanced website provides a dynamic way for our respective clients and partners to better understand how we can help them make valuable connections…meeting planners with our collection of hospitality partners, and vice versa." He adds, "The new features reflect direct feedback from both groups. Interactivity, planning tools and current, pertinent news and information are very important to them during the planning process. The e-RFP tool was suggested by planners to streamline the proposal-gathering process."
