Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment Shows Sales Leadership July 02, 2008 Organization honored at 6th Annual American Business Awards

Sales and management seem to be solid strengths of Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment, as the organization took home two Stevie Awards in those categories during the 2008 American Business Awards in New York.
Top accolades include the company's Eastern region sales team being recognized as Best Sales Team and National Sales Manager Patrick Espinoza achieving the Best Sales Manager honor. Since its inception three years ago, Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment has consistently demonstrated solid sales performance. Last year, the group achieved 132.31 percent of its goal, exceeding the revenue goal by nearly $34 million.
As to how the wins impact incentive clients, Michael Massari, vice president of meeting sales and operations for Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment says, "I hope it shows our incentive customers that we are leaders in our field, and that we strive to excel at everything we do including executing spectacular incentive programs. But, at the end of the day, we are still going to be the same service-driven organization that we have always been, and we will continue to find new and exciting ways to meet our customers' needs."
The Stevie Awards competition drew more than 2,600 entries from companies across the United States including AT&T, Chevron, Cisco, DHL, Express, Eastman Kodak Company, Microsoft, Spring and others in more than 40 categories including Best Overall Company, Best Executive and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
