Incentive Insights: Texas Roadhouse’s CEO on the Value of Incentives September 30, 2009
In April, when incentives and meetings were coming under fire from lawmakers and most company leaders were running for cover, Texas Roadhouse president and CEO G.J. Hart went on MSNBC News to speak out for his company’s five-day incentive trip to San Francisco. In addition to the trip, Texas Roadhouse runs a wide range of reward and recognition programs that reach employees at all levels of the company. For this month’s Incentive Insights podcast, sponsored by Nikon, we sat down with Hart to discuss these programs, his perspective on employee incentives, and his motto that “Leadership is about getting people to exceed their own expectations.”
