The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village opened this week, bringing Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Westin brand to southwest Florida. The property, formerly known as The Resort at Marina Village, underwent an extensive renovation along with the rebranding.

Located near Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, and Fort Myers Beach, the property has expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico, the Caloosahatchee River, and San Carlos Bay. The new Westin has 263 oversized rooms and suites, 25,000 square feet of meeting and function space, a lagoon-style outdoor pool, and access to clay tennis courts, an amphitheater, and a marina with water sports, cruises, and fishing. New additions include a Westin Kids Club, WestinWorkout fitness studio and a 4,000-foot spa Westin Heavenly Spa. Needless to say, the Westin Heavenly Bed and Westin Heavenly Bath amenities were added throughout the property.
