The Cromwell, the first standalone luxury boutique hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, has opened at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, across from Caesars Palace, Caesars Entertainment announced yesterday.
Located on the site of the former Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, the hotel underwent a $185 million renovation in 2013. It now has a 40,000-square-foot casino, a hotel lobby bar, a lounge, a rooftop pool, a 24-hour fitness room, and 188 guest rooms inspired by Parisian loft-style apartments, each with hardwood floors, vintage furnishings, and a steam shower.
Caesars is especially excited about the hotel's food and entertainment offerings: The Cromwell includes dayclub/nightlife venues by nightclub mogul Victor Drai as well as GIADA, the debut restaurant from Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis, which is set to open June 3.
"The Cromwell will bring an exclusive experience to the Las Vegas Strip as a luxury lifestyle boutique hotel focusing on hospitality, amenities and personalized service," General Manager Karie Hall said in February, prior to the hotel's opening. "Our partners Giade De Laurentiis and Victor Drai will inspire 360-degree day life, nightlife and dining experiences that you won't find anywhere else in Las Vegas."
