Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, AZ, has completed a $2 million renovation to its Spa Casitas and Spa Suites, concluding two years and three different stages of capital investment, it announced today.

Sanctuary's Spa Casitas total 650 square feet. Surrounding the resort's infinity-edge pool and Sanctuary Spa, each has been updated with new furnishings, lighting, artwork, upholstery, rugs, and bathroom draperies.

Sanctuary's Spa Suites total 1,200 square feet. Outfitted with glass rock fireplaces and views of Paradise Valley, each has been updated inside and out, with new sleeper sectionals, dining tables, upholstery, and rugs inside; outsider are new patio daybeds with canopies, new teak decking, and new privacy screens surrounding each patio's oversized soaking tub.

There are 12 Spa Casitas and 12 Spa Suites; all 24 accommodations also have been updated with new paint, cabinetry and HD smart televisions, as well as new energy-efficient air-conditioning units, new recessed lighting for bedtime reading, and new dimmer switches that allow guests to create mood lighting in their rooms.

These latest improvements follow two previous rounds of improvements at Sanctuary, during which the resort renovated its 41 Mountain Casitas and 40 Mountain Suites; introduced a new "Camelback" room category consisting of eight Camelback Casitas and eight Camelback Suites, each of which is distinctive for its panoramic views; and opened a new 3,500-square-foot private mountain home, called Spa House, for small groups.
