Hoping to bring more groups to West Palm Beach, FL, Discover The Palm Beaches -- the official destination marketing organization for Palm Beach County, formerly known as the Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau -- is offering $1 million in incentives for meeting planners, it announced this week.

Available through 2020, the incentives are available to groups of five to 5,000 that are new to Palm Beach County and will utilize both the Palm Beach County Convention Center and a hotel room block for their meeting.

"The program is designed to celebrate groups, conventions, hotel, and resort meeting venues that are available throughout the county from Boca Raton to Jupiter and from the oceans to the Everglades," said Douglas McLain, senior vice president of global sales for Discover The Palm Beaches. "Although we are known for, and proud of, our luxury products and experiences, 70 percent of our hotels and resorts fall into the upscale to midscale category, making The Palm Beaches the ideal destination to meet no matter what the available budget."
