A new full-service spa is open at The Wigwam, a 440-acre retreat located 20 miles northwest of Phoenix in Litchfield Park, Ariz. The two-story establishment, LeMonds Aveda Salon Spa, features a southwestern-style ambiance across 26,000 square feet.

"This is truly an exciting time for The Wigwam," said Martin Greenwood, The Wigwam's vice president, managing director and general manager. "As we looked to enhance our spa services, we were inspired by the ethos of Aveda and the brand's commitment to the environment and community, going beyond the world of beauty and wellness.

On the menu at the LeMonds Aveda Salon Spa is rejuvenating massage therapies, as well as hair, nail, face and body treatments. The spa features a sauna, steam room, 15 indoor treatment rooms, a relaxation room and three couples' suites which feature a jacuzzi, shower, and a private balcony with an outdoor shower. Also available to guests is access to a co-ed lap pool, a courtyard, and access to refreshments.

"Our newest partnership with The Wigwam was a perfect match from the beginning," said Jessica Kraust, spa director of LeMonds Aveda Salon. "The resort is a true desert oasis and with its tranquil environment, we were immediately inspired to bring Aveda customizable full body experiences to relax, rejuvenate and replenish."

Originally built in 1918 as a meeting place for executives of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, The Wigwam offers 331 casitas, including 70 suites,  two of which are presidential suites. It offers 45,000 square feet of indoor meeting spaces, with two ballrooms and 25 meeting rooms; 55,000 square feet of outdoor meeting space; and 10 gardens and events lawns.
