Conrad Hotels & Resorts will make its Fort Lauderdale debut in early 2016 with the opening of Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, Hilton Worldwide announced today.

"While Conrad boasts a portfolio of 24 luxury hotels in the Americas, Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort will be the first beachfront resort and residence for the brand in the region," said John T.A. Vanderslice, global head of Conrad Hotels & Resorts. "As one of the world's fastest growing and most innovative luxury brands, Conrad creates unique experiences for our guests in the most sought after destinations and we look forward to bringing this smart luxury retreat to South Florida."

Located between Sunrise and Las Olas Boulevards, the beachfront property will have 290 guest rooms, four dining options, a 4,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, an ocean-facing pool with cabanas, and nine meeting and event spaces.
