The all-suite Encore Resort at Wynn Las Vegas will begin a refresh of its 2,034 accommodations this summer, Wynn Las Vegas announced yesterday.

Scheduled for completion this fall, the project will update guest suites with new furnishings, floor coverings, in-room technology, and décor, as well as "record-setting" custom bed linens that will have the highest thread count -- 507 -- of any resort in the world.

Along with the luxury linens, which also will be featured in every standard guest room at Wynn, design highlights will include upgraded in-room 55-inch 4K televisions, integrated USB ports for charging mobile devices, environmental controls allowing guests to adjust curtains and lighting from their bed, Black Galaxy granite tops, and custom-woven floor coverings.

"The genesis of the refresh was to enhance the environment so guests notice subtle differences that captivate them time and time again," designer Roger Thomas, executive vice president of Wynn Design and Development, said in a statement. "The design plays with the natural light that complements the flawless blend of neutral colors, textures, and fabrics creating a bright, welcoming ambience coupled with added technology to heighten comfort and convenience."
