Atlanta-based hotel developer North Point Hospitality Group is building the country's first ground-up, tri-branded Marriott hotel in Nashville, it announced last week.
Located in the city's SoBro neighborhood, across the street from the Music City Center convention venue, the $120 million, 455-key project will consist of a 204-room AC Hotel by Marriott, a 126-room Residence Inn by Marriott, and a 125-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott. Servicing all three brands will be 15,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, a pool with poolside food and beverage service, a fitness center, a rooftop bar and lounge, and 6,000 square feet of column-free meeting space.
"We are excited to be back in the Nashville market developing the first tri-branded Marriott hotel in one of the most dynamic cities in the country," said S. Jay Patel, president and CEO of North Point Hospitality Group. "We are proud of our relationship with Marriott to enable us to bring this first-of-its-kind project to the heart of the bustling SoBro area in Nashville."
Although an opening date has not yet been announced, work on the project is expected to start later this year.
