Caesars Entertainment broke ground on July 16 on Caesars Forum, a new, 550,000-square-foot conference and event center. When it debuts in 2020, its two 110,000 square foot ballrooms will be the largest pillarless ballrooms in the world.

The $375 million project will all be on one level, and will feature the first 100,000-square-foot outdoor meeting and event space in Las Vegas, the Forum Plaza. It will be adjacent to the LINQ Promenade nightlife, dining and retail district. Caesars Forum will be within walking distance of eight Caesars Entertainment properties totaling 20,000 hotel rooms.

"While the ballrooms we're building are large, there will be plenty of unique spaces, including the outdoor pavilion area, so I think there'll be plenty of uses for incentives for the larger companies that have larger incentives," said Michael Massari, chief sales officer for Caesars Entertainment. "The LINQ is really a unique retail area. When we add the Forum to it in 2020, I don't think there will be anything like it anywhere. Groups of all sizes have just been clamoring to make use of it. It goes from everything from a small dine-around to a big party for Amazon for some 20,000 people."

In total, Caesars Forum will have 300,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. In addition to the two giant, pillarless ballrooms, it will include a pair of 40,000-square-foot ballrooms and six state-of-the-art boardrooms. It will be able to hold more than 10,000 attendees and will have more than 100 breakout rooms.

Caesars Forum will be built to LEED Silver specifications, and be directly connected via skybridge to 5,000 rooms at The LINQ Hotel and Casino and Harrah's Las Vegas.
