Global airline alliance SkyTeam is offering passengers a new way to relax pre-flight: a yoga studio in its exclusive lounge at London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 4. The studio has yoga mats and a video showing a series of easy-to-follow sequences, and is open to customers flying from London Heathrow on any of the 13 member airlines serving the airport.

"Behind the design concept of each SkyTeam Exclusive Lounge is a focus on our customers' wellbeing, taking them away from the hectic airport terminal and into a tranquil environment," said Fatima da Gloria, SkyTeam Director Brand and Communications. "Yoga is renowned for improving the mind and body through its focus on stretching and breathing--perfect for some pre-flight fitness."

The yoga studio builds on SkyTeam's existing relaxation facilities at Heathrow, which include massage chairs, a wellness center offering a wide range of complimentary spa treatments, and an oxygen bar for a pre-departure energy boost.

In addition to 516 global lounges available to its customers, SkyTeam has two exclusive lounges, one in Heathrow and the other in Istanbul's Atatürk Airport.
