The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun made its grand debut last week, according to owner Palace Resorts.

The new, all-inclusive hotel is located within Palace Resorts' signature property, Moon Palace Cancun, and is 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport. The Grand has 1,300 guest rooms; nine outdoor swimming pools, two of which are adults-only; a children's waterpark; a fully equipped fitness center with smart-technology treadmills; a six-lane bowling alley; a teen lounge; a nightclub; and a 76,875-square-foot spa with more than 60 spa suites, a hydrotherapy circuit, plunge pools, and steam and sauna rooms.

All told, there are 17 food-and-beverage offerings, including nine restaurants -- ranging from Mexican, Asian, Italian, and steak to Caribbean, French, Lebanese, and Peruvian cuisines -- and eight bars and lounges.

Even and meeting space totals in excess of 80,000 square feet, encompassing breakout rooms, ballrooms, exhibition areas, outdoor spaces, and a theater for nearly 1,000 guests.

"The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun is without a doubt our most unbelievable project yet," said Gibran Chapur, executive vice president of Palace Resorts. "Palace Resorts envisioned a property that would truly take luxury, convenience, and entertainment and upscale culinary dining and combine it to surpass any traditional, luxury all-inclusive around."
