Following a $50 million renovation and restoration, the historic Concorde Paris Opera will re-launch as the Hilton Paris Opera in January 2015, Hilton Worldwide announced last month.

The revamped hotel will have 268 guest rooms across five floors, seven meeting spaces totaling 5,435 square feet, and a new bar inspired by French fashion designer Christian Lacroix. Its highlight, however, will be a grand entrance hall adorned with frescoes, Corinthian colonnades, and original balustrades.

"The transformation of this property over the past year has been truly magnificent," General Manager Sofia Vandaele said in a statement. "We have been respectful of the building's fabulous historic features while updating it with all of the latest technology and design upgrades today's traveler expects. Combined with a stellar location in the heart of Paris and the service for which Hilton is renowned, Hilton Paris Opera will offer travelers a stylish setting from which to explore the world's most romantic of cities."
