Hard Rock International has opened its first European hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, in Ibiza, Spain, it announced yesterday.

Located on Playa d'en Bossa -- one of Ibiza's most popular beaches -- the island resort has 493 guest rooms, an exclusive restaurant limited to just 12 guests per night, Ibiza's highest rooftop bar, a spa, a workout facility, a poolside outdoor concert terrace and 6,780 square feet of function space, which is the most of any hotel on the island.

"Ibiza has long proven itself as one of the most dynamic and sought-after destinations for music lovers," John Galloway, chief marketing officer at Hard Rock International, said in a statement. "The distinct beauty and rich history of the area, combined with Hard Rock's undeniable passion for music, will surely attract fans worldwide since offering guests authentic unforgettable experiences is paramount to the Hard Rock brand."
