Auberge Resorts has begun construction on its third property in Mexico, a 59-suite luxury boutique hotel called Susurros del Corazón, in Punta de Mita. The 33-acre Pacific Coast development, in the Riviera Nayarit north of Puerto Vallarta Airport, will include 30 residences and is slated to open in late 2020.

Susurros de Corazón (Spanish for "whispers of the heart") is being constructed on a bluff surrounded by tropical jungle terrain, overlooking a white sand beach on the Bay of Banderas. "We wanted to bring something totally unique to this area, and the new Auberge Resort hotel suites and stunning oceanfront villas deliver on our vision," said Mark Cooley, partner, SV Capital Partners, developers of the resort and residences. "It is very important for us to preserve the natural beauty of the land, and we are being conscious in the development to create a community that is in harmony with its surroundings. The entire ethos of this property is to combine a rustic simplicity that feels very authentic, with the world-class amenities you'd expect from an Auberge resort."

The project promises four on-site F&B outlets, including a signature restaurant with indoor and outdoor spaces offering memorable views. Other amenities include a 3,000-square-foot fitness center and yoga studio, a kid's club and 4,600 square feet of event space - including an outdoor patio and a large event lawn. The Auberge Spa will have 11 treatment rooms and a selection of spa treatments influenced by local customs and ingredients.

Three scallop-shaped pools will be a centerpiece of the property, cascading down the bluff toward a secluded beach below. The beach itself is swimmer-friendly, and spans nearly 2,000 feet.
