Celebrity Cruises has announced a series of 24 Caribbean voyages this summer, making it the only premium-class cruise line to offer year-round sailings in the region.

The 122,000-ton Celebrity Equinox will be offering mostly seven-night itineraries of the Eastern and Western Caribbean from the port of Miami. It can accommodate 2,850 guests and 85 percent of the staterooms have verandas. Shipboard amenities include seven restaurants with cuisines ranging from Italian to Asian, along with several casual venues, eight bars and lounges, indoor and outdoor pools, and a Canyon Ranch SpaClub.

For meeting and incentive groups, the Equinox has a variety of meeting and event venues, including a divisible 2,850-square-foot conference center that can accommodate up to 220, the 13,260-square-foot Celebrity Theater with a capacity of more than 1,150 guests, and the 3,050-square-foot Celebrity Central for about 200. Other spaces groups can use include a variety of bars, lounges, and entertainment spaces.

The Equiniox, which underwent a dry-dock refurbishment two years ago, is also available for full-ship charters, allowing planners to customize everything from the ports of call and shore excursions to the ship's daily newspaper.
