Event management company Experient, a Maritz Travel Company, has established a partnership with TurnoutNow, a company that leverages wearable beacons to provide behavioral analytics data to the events industry, it announced this month.

Experient said it will use TurnoutNow's proprietary beacon and receiver system -- which utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to monitor attendee traffic and behavior -- to capture attendee insights that will inform the design of future events to make them more effective.

"Experient is focused on bringing experiential design into our clients' events for the betterment of the attendee," said Michael Guerriero, division president for Experient. "Understanding the true behaviors of event guests is critical to providing customized experiences in the future. 'Show me you know me' will be the expectation of our future event participants. The products and services that we develop with TurnoutNow will reinvent meetings and trade shows in the future."
