The results of Incentive’s 2011 Merchandise IQ survey are back, and there’s some good news: The number of respondents who said their company’s merchandise awards budgets had increased over the past year was nearly double the number who said the same thing in 2010. You’ll be able to see all of those details and much more in the full report, which will be available the first week in April.

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at the top 10 reasons companies use merchandise awards:

2. Increase sales - 54.8%
3. Thank employees/Client gifts - 47.6%
4. Build customer loyalty - 45.8%
5. Build morale/Job satisfaction - 37.5%
