A new workplace-engagement survey product focuses on providing managers with a comprehensive view of their organization's performance, spotlighting the importance of integrating numerous strands of data on employees to make decisions about incentives and rewards.

The new survey platform is from professional services company Towers Watson. It collects data from a wide range of employee survey responses and automatically creates post-survey action plans. These draw on analysis of worker comments, predictive modeling, and providing basic descriptive statistics, all on a single platform.

"This enhanced technology helps clients reimagine how employee surveys can drive real change and improve business performance," said Max Caldwell, managing director at Towers Watson, in a statement.

Helping in this effort is the company's emphasis on offering an intuitive, simple platform that has been optimized for web browsers and tablets.

One of the primary attributes of this enhanced platform is that it saves organizations time while engaging and empowering their managers," added Adam Zuckerman, global practice leader of employee surveys at Towers Watson, in a statement. "This new powerful platform is based on years of exploring best practices with high-performing organizations and drawing on the best thinking of our consultants."

This new offering comes on the market as hospitality performance-management company UniFocus has launched its new STAFFScope program aimed at simplifying the tracking and rewarding of employee performance on one central dashboard.
