There's more to running a successful incentive program than just setting a sales target and offering some rewards. Motivation starts with an employee's perceptions.

At 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, Incentive will host a free webcast drawing on key points in industry research from the Maritz Institute and the Incentive Research Foundation to look at how employees feel about incentive programs and rewards, and how to translate those feelings into an engaging and successful sales incentive strategy.

The speakers will include Charles Purvis, director of sales effectiveness solutions for Maritz Motivation Solutions and a Maritz Institute certified master designer trained in applying neuroscience and research into human behavior to incentive and motivation programs.

The other speaker, Dahlton Bennington, CMP, CMM, is director of meetings and events for PROfound Planning where she leads a number of Fortune 500 companies' meetings and incentive programs. She is also treasurer and a member of the executive board of the Incentive Research Foundation.
