announced today that it is launching a new industry educational event focusing on merchandise and gift card awards.
The Incentive Buyers Conference
(IBC) will take place Aug. 17-19, 2014 at the Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas. The hosted buyer show will focus on educating incentive industry buyers as well as providing them with opportunities to meet with suppliers from the merchandise and gift card industries.
“There is a void in the incentive industry right now when it comes to the ability of buyers to connect with merchandise and gift card suppliers,” said Vincent Alonzo, editor-in-chief of INCENTIVE, which is owned by Northstar Travel Media
. “We intend to fill that hole with a hosted buyer show that will offer industry-leading educational content from the INCENTIVE brand, the Incentive Marketing Association
(IMA), and the Incentive Research Foundation
The show will target senior-level incentive buyers from leading incentive houses and corporate end-users who are involved with sales incentive and channel sales force programs, as well as broader employee recognition and engagement programs.
“Business improvement starts with the engagement of employees, channel partners, and customers,” says IMA President Louise Anderson. “The IMA is excited to see an event like the Incentive Buyers Conference that will enable total reward leadership and [provide] reward and recognition buyers with a place to learn about the most recent, proven, and innovative solutions for their organizations.”
