In June, Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) will debut the new and improved AIBTM, which last year was rebranded as "IBTM America." In advance of the event, RTE announced, high-quality hosted buyers are expressing great optimism about its new format, which will replace the traditional exhibit-hall format with a series of one-on-one meetings between 250 buyers and 250 suppliers.

Among the hosted buyers signed up to attend IBTM America are corporate buyers from companies like The Wendy's Company, General Motors, Mars Petcare, Royal Caribbean International, Wintrust Mortgage, The Linux Foundation and Sharp HealthCare; incentive and agency buyers from organizations like American Express global Business Travel, Leisure Express SA, Experient, and Helms Briscoe; and association planners from groups such as the Global Business Travel Association, the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the International Union of Police Associations, AFL-CIO, the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, the International Franchise Association, the National Women's Studies Association, and the National Association of African American Studies and Affiliates.

"We're extremely pleased with the quality of hosted buyers who will be attending IBTM America this year. We've had very positive feedback about the more exclusive structure of our show and we look forward to building a stronger sense of community among our hosted buyers and exhibitors," IBTM America Event Director Jaime McAuley said in a statement. "Our one-on-one appointment model will assist everyone at IBTM America in creating high-value business outcomes."

IBTM America will take place June 9-11 in Chicago. For more information, visit www.ibtmamerica.com.
