The recently rebranded Next Level Performance, a Dittman Company, celebrated its 40th anniversary recently by volunteering with five charitable organizations located near its New Brunswick, NJ, headquarters.
The activities are part of Next Level's long-standing commitment to HOPE, which began in its previous incarnation as Dittman Incentive Marketing. The company took the name of its program -- which stands for Helping Others Persevere and Excel -- from the New York Yankees' initiative of the same name.
"One of Next Level's core values is to provide spectacular service to our community, and this was more important than ever as we celebrate the company's 40th anniversary," said Dave Dittmann, the firm's managing director.
With both companies and employees insisting on incorporating corporate social responsibility events into their incentive and meting programs, these activities also highlight ways that companies can give back to the communities they visit.
The organizations that the company's employees worked with include:
- HomeFront: dedicated to ending homelessness in Central New Jersey
- Elijah's Promise: a soup kitchen/clothing/job training organization
- Jersey Cares: a volunteer coordination organization
- CASA of Middlesex County: court appointed advocates for children
- New Brunswick Free Library: book donations
Among the activities Next Level Performance's employees took part in were helping HomeFront's clients learn job interview skills and with computer training; leading a discussion on menu planning for adults from Elijah's Promise seeking jobs in the hospitality industry; running a food drive; providing children with backpacks full of school supplies; and assembling backpacks full of essentials for displaced teens.
"We are honored to put our skills and best efforts to great use, helping our neighbors with the challenges they face," added Susan Adams, Next Level's senior director of engagement.
