The growing market of mobile event apps has a new addition: On Feb. 6, USMotivation
unveiled its new Event+ app. The customizable program includes a range of offerings for both meeting planners and attendees to simplify event navigation and provide rich content and interactive elements.
The app, which can be used on any smartphone, is designed to boost engagement from attendees at conferences planned by the Atlanta-based event and engagement company. It offers event schedules and information, as well as speaker bios, venue maps, hotel information, and city guides, all of which can be personalized to provide both practical assistance and entertainment to event participants.
“Event+ gives event attendees a way to quickly consult schedules and seminar locations, learn about speakers or message other attendees, which offers a huge advantage to our clients,” said Caren Bigelow, director of travel for USMotivation, in a statement.
Another priority of the app is to boost social interaction among attendees. It includes an interactive attendee list, as well as direct messaging and social networking capabilities. Video and photo galleries can also be added, as well as sponsor information.
Event+ is also able to sync data with USMotivation’s internal registration system, TravReg, and can accommodate polling and surveys for post-event information gathering.
The app is the latest event app designed for incentive and meeting planners, joining such other offerings such as Sparcet and Socialcast Thanks
, as well as twoppy.com
, a web service where planners can create their own event apps.
“We are already seeing a great deal of demand for the Event+ mobile event app from many of our clients because of the wide variety of benefits for meeting attendees and organizers,” said Mark Prine, vice president of major accounts for USMotivation, in a statement. “Event+ is a perfect way for organizations to customize and personalize the event experience, allowing them to reach new levels of engagement for participants.”
