Incentive industry veteran George Kling passed away over the weekend. He was 83.

The founder of Potential Profits Group, a premium, incentive, and promotional products firm in Branford, CT, Kling was widely known and respected in the industry. He was a leading consultant in the premium and incentive field, and was a past president of the Association of Incentive Marketing and member of the advisory board of the Motivation Show in Chicago.

“George was a mentor to many of us,” said Karen Renk, executive director of the Incentive Marketing Association. “Of course, he knew everything about the business, but what impressed me most was his passion for the incentive industry and his love of the many people he worked with.”

Kling is survived by his five children, eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Friends of the James Blackstone Library, 758 Main St., Branford, CT 06405.  This page is protected by Copyright laws. Do Not Copy
