EEA to Launch Certification Program on Engagement
April 26, 2011
The Enterprise Engagement Alliance (EEA) plans to launch a formal curriculum and certification program on engagement at its upcoming Enterprise Engagement Alliance Networking Expo and Conference, set for June 1-2 at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown, NY.
EEA designed the program specifically to help individuals and organizations create actionable engagement strategies and will address economics and metrics, critical implementation steps, and required tools for engagement strategies.
The two-day conference is for executives and managers in all areas of business seeking a formal framework for benefiting from engagement and for suppliers of engagement products and services seeking new ways to profit in this emerging business discipline.
In addition, EEA has designed sessions for suppliers of various types of engagement products and services including: assessments and surveys, leadership training and coaching, communications, rewards and recognition, technology, and human capital management. Speakers include executives from leading companies that have embraced engagement, as well as leading suppliers in diverse areas of the business.
According to EEA, over the past 10 years, extensive research has been conducted by numerous organizations, such as Gallup, the Corporate Leadership Council, BlessingWhite, Towers Watson, and Sirota, showing a clear link between an organization’s financial success and its people—managers, employees, customers, distribution partners, vendors, and even the community in which a business operates.
“When a new industry emerges, practitioners and suppliers alike need to work together to find a more effective way to implement solutions,” says Bruce Bolger, managing director of EEA. “This two-day program is specifically designed to help both these groups connect and create the cohesion necessary for success.”
