Incentive house BI has launched Contractor Rewards, calling it the only coalition rewards program to target professional builders, remodelers and contractors in the residential, commercial and industrial construction industries in the United States.
Manufacturers including A.O. Smith, Edwards Signaling, Matheson, GE, GAF Materials Corporation, and DuPont have signed on as participating sponsors of the new service.
“These category-leading brands were eager to sign on with Contractor Rewards because it gives them the ability to identify and maintain a persistent voice with their professional trade customers,” said John Pierson, division vice president of coalition marketing for the Minneapolis–based BI, in a statement. “Contractor Rewards gives their customers the ability to combine their point earnings from multiple manufacturers to earn rewards faster, which builds increased brand loyalty and customer satisfaction."
Participating manufacturers use the program to incentivize purchase of its products, then gain marketing insight about customers, including brand preferences and other purchasing habits that may not have been previously accessible, helping to more successfully pursue new customers and expand relationships with existing customers.
For participating customer, a coalition rewards program offers increased earning power by combining rewards points from different manufacturers. After purchasing a product from a participating manufacturer, a customer can locate the yellow reward code label on the eligible product, enter the 12-digit code online at www.ContractorRewards.com and begin earning points toward reward items. Participating customers can redeem Contractor Rewards points for more than 30,000 tangible rewards.
“During this time of continued economic uncertainty, our customers are looking for new ways to maximize efficiency and profitability,” said Alan C. Hubbell, market manager for DuPont Building Innovations, in a statement. “We chose Contractor Rewards as an innovative and very simple way to add value to our customers’ businesses and recognize their loyalty by offering points on our products that can be redeemed for highly desirable rewards items.”
