This year, the Site Executive Summit and board meeting will take place in Argentina, marking the first South American host city in the organization's history.

"We are honored to have the chance to host the Site International Board of Directors meetings and the Site Executive Summit for the first time in South America," said Argentine Minister of Tourism Enrique Meyer. "Our country offers within the six tourist regions several exceptional destinations ideal for motivational events and incentive trips, and experienced professionals trained to produce unforgettable and unique experiences."

Taking place March 3-7, the Site Executive Summit will commence with one night in Buenos Aires and conclude with three days at the Edelweis Hotel in Bariloche. Meanwhile, Site will also host its first board meeting of the year at the LlaoLlao Hotel, also in Bariloche.

"Events such as the Site Executive Summit are very important to the South American professional community because they are designed to speak to the needs and perspectives of our region," said Site 2012 President Alejandro Verzoub, who is president of AV Business and Communication. "I am thrilled my home country will serve as host for the first Site board meeting of the year plus the Executive Summit. Additionally, I can confirm the enthusiasm of Site members from outside our region who have expressed their interest in participating in the educational program and discovering these two great destinations in Argentina."
