Incentive industry veteran Donna Chrobak has accepted the position of executive director of the Incentive Marketing Association the organization announced this week.

With more than 20 years in the incentive business, Chrobak was most recently vice president of QuintLoyalty. Before that she was owner and president of Atlanta-based DCI Incentives, which she sold to QuintLoyalty in 2012. She is also a past member of both the board of directors and executive committee of the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA).

"Donna's experience and leadership will help the IMA maintain its role as the preeminent source of information about the use of incentives in business," said Richard Low, president of the IMA and vice president, special markets, for Citizen Watch Company, in a statement. "She has the real world experience that will help the IMA and our members become more effective in advocating the use of incentives in the corporate world."

The IMA has not had an industry insider at its helm since the founding executive director, Karen Renk, retired in late 2013. Renk passed away last summer

"In recent years we've seen a lot of changes in the incentive industry and the general marketplace," Chrobak said in the statement. "Working with IMA to adapt to these changes and continue to build value for our members is a tremendous opportunity that I am excited to be a part of."
