Globoforce's New Solution Targets Largest Global Firms

International recognition specialist Globoforce has launched a new online reward and recognition platform designed to meet the needs of the largest and most complex multi-national firms.
Of course, the Enterprise Conglomerate platform can run a recognition program that offers consistent rewards and a consistent message to a global workforce—which is Globoforce's "best practice advice," says Eric Mosley, CEO of the Westborough, Mass.-based firm. But it also allows the sub-company or division of a large multinational to "bring their programs on the new corporate parent’s system but retain its own program culture and strategy," he adds.
The platform is also a good way to slowly bring local programs onto a global corporate platform, Mosley says. "They can add consistency little by little," he says, suggesting similar rewards as a good starting point. It has the flexibility to report to both local and corporate headquarters’ simultaneously.
Enterprise Conglomerate becomes "more powerful the more dispersed a client's workforce is," says Eric Mosley. That said, he adds that there are only 50 to 100 corporations large and complex enough to need the system—the platform's first major customer is a "global, diversified conglomerate with 300,000 employees," he says.
