Fujifilm has released its toughest all-weather, Wi-Fi capable camera yet. The new FinePix XP80 is waterproof to 50 feet, capable of withstanding the shock of a drop from 5.8 feet and temperatures as low at 14 degrees Farenheit (-10 degrees Celsius) and dustproof.

The 16.4 megapixel XP80 features a 28-140mm 5x optical zoom lens, Wi-Fi connectivity for one-touch transfer of images to smartphones, tablets and computers, and can shoot high definition video at 60 frames per second (fps) in full 1080p resolution, even underwater. The free Fujifilm Camera Remote app enable remote shooting.

In Action Camera Mode, the XP80's lens is set at a fixed 18mm and enables hands-free shooting so the camera can be mounted on your body or a piece of sporting equipment. The rear LCD turns off in this setting to preserve battery life and offer longer recording times. The XP80 has optical image stabilization, and can shoot slow-motion video at 480 fps.

The XP80 retails for $229.95 and is available in blue, yellow, purple, and black graphite with green accents. For more information, contact Jhafenscher@fujifilm.com
