Fujifilm's FinePix XP90 rugged camera features a 16.4MP sensor, 5x optical zoom lens, Wi-Fi connectivity with smartphones and tablets, and can shoot full HD movies, even underwater.

Waterproof to 50 feet, freezeproof to 14°F, shockproof to withstand drops from 5.8 feet, and rustproof to sand and other particles, the XP90's action cam mode -- combined with image stabilization and buttons designed for people wearing gloves -- make it a great choice for capturing point-of-view video. This technology is assisted by a number of specialized filters and shooting modes, including a wind filter mode to reduce noise when moving fast.

Other features include a 3-inch anti-reflective, high-definition 920K-dot  LCD monitor; Wi-Fi to transfer images and video to smartphones and tablets, as well as controlling a wireless remote shooting mode; and Interval Shooting mode, which lets you capture multiple images of a scene taken at set intervals -- such as clouds moving through the sky -- and a new "Time-Lapse Movie" feature that will automatically turn these image sequences into a movie clip showing the passing of time.

It currently retails for around $229. More information is available from Joe Hafenscher, vice president of sales, special markets for Fujifilm North America or visiting fujifilmusa.com.
