To celebrate its 50th anniversary, high-end audio firm Bowers & Wilkins has released its largest, best and most advanced headphones ever, the P9 Signature.

Aimed at serious audiophiles, the P9 offers crystal clear, precision highs and astonishing bass through features including angled drivers to match the human ear's orientation; a transducer placed to provide the imaging, depth and clarity of true stereo speakers; an earcup engineered from aluminum and composites; and a decoupled headband that prevents the transmission of distorting vibration between it and the earcups.

Designed by the engineering team behind the British firm's flagship 800 D3 speakers and incorporating many of the same materials and technology as the Diamond series line, the P9 headphones also incorporate luxurious materials ranging from tough, folding aluminum arms to the memory foam ear cushions covered in brown Italian Saffiano leather. A carrying case of durable yet suede-like Alcantara and Saffiano leather is included in the $699.99 P9 Signature.

Other recently announced additions to the Bowers & Wilkins line include the $399.99 P7 Wireless headphones, using advanced acoustic technology and aptX Bluetooth to provide an exceptional wireless audio experience with 17 hour batteries.

The smaller and lighter folding P3 Series 2 Headphones now offer updated acoustics and a new leather finish at $149.99.

The iconic, oblong Zeppelin Wireless Bluetooth speaker is now available in white as well as black for $599.00. And the smaller and more portable T7 Bluetooth speaker is not available in gold at $299.99.
