Bose Bluetooth Headset

Bose has introduced a new Bluetooth headset for mobile phones that offers better sound and improved noise reduction -- even in challenging settings like airports -- for a stable yet comfortable earpiece.

The Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 is available in right- or left-ear versions and is compatible with all Bluetooth 2.1 or later mobile phones and other devices. It can maintain an active connection with two devices.

On the incoming side, the Series 2 incorporates the Bose TriPort acoustic structure of its headphones, as well as Bose Adaptive Audio Adjustment Technology to react automatically to changing noise levels around the user, so the conversation can be heard without fiddling with the volume or straining to hear when ambient sound picks up—or decreases. A new internal antenna substantially cuts audio artifacts —the buzzes and clicks— while making it easier to connect with a phone kept in a pocket.

The new headset also has a new dual microphone system that tunes out background noise and the effects of the wind. Signal processing counteracts many loud environments like gusty walkways, railway platforms and airports. The soft silicon StayHear earpiece tips are designed for long-wear comfort without stability issues. Three sizes are included.

A variety of proprietary audio technologies provide clear, rich sound from podcasts, smartphone apps, and other mobile content. The Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 comes with a portable zipper case, USB cable, and a power adapter with fold-flat prongs. It retails for $149.95. For more details visit
