Bose today announced a trio of brighter, more colorful new headphones.

The FreeStyle earbuds, and SoundTrue on-ear and around-ear headphones all feature the Bose TriPort acoustic headphone technology which provide powerful low notes, clear high-frequencies, and smooth, full-range reproduction of vocals and instruments, and eliminate the need for artificial bass boosting.

"Now, that renowned Bose experience includes new looks -- another chapter in the Bose headphone story," said Sean Garrett, vice president of the Bose noise reduction technology group, in a statement. "We sweat the details on color, fit and finish, just as we did our audio engineering, to make the SoundTrue headphones and FreeStyle earbuds an extension of you."

Comfort and fit also remain a key part of Bose’s design philosophy, so the FreeStyle earbuds come with the Bose StayHear tips in three sizes for a comfortable, even fit that conforms to the shape of the users ears, while the SoundTrue on-ear and around-ear headphones have a reinforced headband with soft cushion and foam ear cups. Both also fold for easier packing.

The FreeStyle earbuds are available in indigo and ice blue, and retail for $129.95.

The SoundTrue on-ear headphones are available in black, white, mint, and two-tone purple/mint, and retail for $179.95.

The SoundTrue around-ear headphones are available in black, white, mint, and two-tone black/mint, and retail for $179.95.

All three include an inline microphone that integrates with the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod, so switching between calls and content is hands-free and seamless. The SoundTrue and FreeStyle lines are not part of Bose’s QuietComfort Acoustic Noise Cancelling line.
