Bose has released an updated version of its SoundDock digital music system for the Apple iPod and iPhone 5 that incorporates Apple’s new Lightning connector.

Aside from its compatibility with the iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod Touch, the SoundDock III system has the same room-filling and crystal-clear sound as the SoundDock II, which uses the connector found on the iPhone 4 and iPod touch fourth-generation (and earlier) models. The SoundDock II will remain available.

The SoundDock III has a remote control that operates the system, as well as basic iPhone/iPod functions like switching between playlists, and an auxiliary input to connect other audio devices.

The SoundDock III retails for $249.95. For more information, contact Incentive Concepts (www.incentiveconcepts.com).
