Just because it's cold out and the snow is gusting down doesn't mean your employees need to restrict their activities to the great indoors.

Indeed, with the right equipment and attitude, even a howling blizzard shouldn't keep them away from outdoor play. They just need the right toys.

Consider Polaris' Sportsman 570 Sage Green Automatic ATV. This tough, beastly machine can rip through any and all terrain, yet its legendary handling lets riders navigate the tightest corners. Independent rear suspension keeps the ride smooth over uneven ground and it has 11" of ground clearance, meaning it'll haul itself over rocks and other obstacles without disrupting the ride. The Sportsman 570 can be purchased through Harco Incentives.

Of course, Polaris -- known for its off-road vehicles -- has another extreme vehicle in its RZR XP 1000 Black Pearl. This all-terrain animal can go almost anywhere at any time, blasting through snow and mud like a hot knife through an ice cream cake. It's agile too, with pinpoint handling and able to cut close to narrow corners. The Black Pearl is available through Incentive Concepts.

Obviously, going offroading in the snow isn't everybody's idea of a good time. Others want a more genteel sport, like skiing. But the problem with skiing is that it's an activity that requires a lot of equipment to do well, and traveling with skis isn't always the easiest thing in the world.

But with the right setup, it can be made easier, and Rymax stocks some equipment that can take the trouble out of dragging your skis to and from the resort. The Thule SnowPack Six Ski Carrier mounts on your car and can hold up to six pairs of skis or four snowboards -- making it the perfect sidekick for an intense family vacation, or a trip to the powder with buddies. Its vertical spring system accommodates the thickness of various mounts and its push button operation make it easy to open both with or without gloves.

For the lone wolf powslayer, check out Thule's RoundTrip Ski Bag. At 192cm in length, it'll easily accommodate pretty much any alpine ski setup, plus poles. Or for the cross-country types, it can pack two pairs of Nordic skis. The bag is also padded, so it'll keep your skis safe, and two compression straps will keep it from shifting around during travel.
