After a world tour that included runs at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, the Arena Madrid in Spain, and the Kremlin State Palace Theater in Moscow, Cirque du Soleil’s latest show has settled into its residency at the Aria Resort & Casino at CityCenter in Las Vegas last month.
Zarkana is described as a “visually stunning modern acrobatic spectacular,” that follows Zark, “the ringmaster of an extraordinary circus coming back to life, as he guides us in an abandoned theatre populated by a motley collection of off-the-wall characters and incomparable acrobats.”Cirque du Soleil
works with corporate groups that want to use any of its seven shows in residency in Las Vegas to arrange ticket blocks or even full buyouts. Because show tickets go on sale six to eight months ahead, buyouts must be planned at least eight months to a year in advance. Cirque du Soleil can also arrange to have show performers attend private events at each show’s host hotel.
Aside from Zarkana, Cirque du Soleil’s current roster in Las Vegas includes the following: “CRISS ANGEL Believe” at the Luxor Hotel Casino; “The Beatles LOVE” at The Mirage; “KÀ” at the MGM Grand; “Zumanity” at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino; “O” at Bellagio; and “Mystère” at Treasure Island.
