In a bid to entice luxury travelers, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has launched a new collection of high-end trips that offer itineraries ranging from a surfing safari to a Texas boot camp. The variety of offerings aims to showcase the brands' numerous destinations and can be customized for individual or group incentive travel preferences.
Called Extraordinary Experiences, this new collection of more than two dozen programs includes offerings across continents and regions and for all levels of physical activity. For the adventurous, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa offers a customized surfing safari in the Indian Ocean. Participants board a seaplane with a team of expert guides, flying over picturesque islands and riding waves in some of the Maldives' most pristine locations.
Another option for those looking to get a personal connection to a property's surrounding wilderness is Thailand's Sunrise Elephant Trek at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. During the experience, visitors will climb atop an Asian elephant at the break of dawn and see the sun rise over the Lao mountains. Those concerned that this trek takes place a bit too early for a leisure trip may be comforted by the property's fresh coffee.
Golfers can take their clubs to new heights at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, which offers a Glacier Tee-Off from a mountaintop. After nearing the end of a round of golf on one of the property's courses, a personal PGA pro will escort the attendee to a helicopter where they will fly 8,000 feet to the elevated 19th hole. Participants can enjoy the view over a cocktail and appetizers once the game wraps up.
The brand offers a number of food and beverage experiences as well, including sipping world-class wine in the historic wine cellar at Four Seasons Hotel George V. Paris; traveling by private helicopter to the Jose Cuervo distillery while at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, in Mexico; or taking in the Ponte Vecchio sunset over dinner at Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, in Italy.
These Extraordinary Experiences are available for limited periods in 2014. Full details of the programs can be found here
