Studio Movie Grill (SMG), a specialist in in-theater dining exhibition, is teaming up with CashStar, a provider of prepaid commerce solutions, to launch a new digital gift card program. The program will deliver a personalized experience for both the sender and recipient, as well as give SMG the ability to execute targeted marketing campaigns.

SMG has more than 200 screens across nine different states, combining first-run movies with in-theater dining services.

CashStar Commerce, CashStar's cloud-based platform, enables SMG to manage all direct-to-consumer gift card sales - including online sales of plastic cards - and provides its marketing team the ability to motivate purchases through proven promotional strategies. SMG will also utilize CashStar Commerce's business application to scale the company's B2B efforts.
