Paytronix Systems, a reward program solution used by more than 250 restaurant and retail chains, has announced a number of new enhancements to its program offerings. The updates are aimed at allowing marketers to both increase the number of loyalty program members they serve and increase the spending of those who are already members. Shortly after this announcement, the firm reported that restaurant chain Zaxby's had selected Paytronix to upgrade its consumer gift card program across its restaurant locations.

"Driven by customer feedback, all the updates to the Paytronix Rewards Platform are designed to enhance and simplify the user experience - making our client-base more agile in their marketing endeavors," said Andrew Robbins, president of Paytronix Systems, Inc., in a statement. "The result is an even more powerful, real-time marketing engine that enables merchants to increase their ability to create more relevant and meaningful campaigns and derive more insights and value from their customer data."

Among these enhancements is a new interface that makes it easier for users to to track the performance of their loyalty program, as well as a campaign center that allows users to view the number of visits, spending, and guests' average spend per redemption. The upgrades also allows the program to work more effectively via mobile devices, with responsive sites that adapt to smartphones or tablets. In addition, it provides for mobile and social media registration, allowing guests to join loyalty programs from their smartphone or via a company's Facebook page.

The additions also include messaging that aims to create more of a sense of immediacy and urgency for members, such as an email informing them their free dessert reward expires in a week.

Along with these enhancements, Paytronix also recently announced that it has been tapped for the upgraded gift card solution for fast-casual franchise Zaxby's. Paytronix emphasized that its upgraded gift card offering would cut down on the amount of time Zaxby's would have to spend working out the accounting of its gift card sales and redemptions, while offering it additional ways to sell more gift cards - such as virtual gift cards, third-party retail sales, and other promotions.

"We had to quickly find a new gift card processor," said Jeff Hood, financial projects director at Zaxby's Franchising LLC, in a statement. "As large as we are, that was going to be a daunting task. We did a lot of diligence, and we kept coming back to Paytronix. We liked what they told us, and everything they preached to us they've upheld."
