Crystal Lake, IL-based National Gift Card Corporation (NGC), and Pittsburgh-based GiftCards.com recently added new e-gift card brands to their respective B2B and corporate incentive portfolios. 

The addition of these new e-gift card options at NGC and Gift Cards.com reflects the fastest growing segment of the $124-billion gift card industry. According to CEB/TowerGroup, e-gift cards made up 5 percent of total sales in 2014 and sales are expected to climb to 8 percent or $11 billion by 2016. 

GiftCards.com recently began offering  e-gift cards from CVS/pharmacy®, Staples, IHOP, Applebee's and Cabela's that can be purchased through the company's OmniCard division for corporate incentive and B2B sales. The digital cards can be purchased in any denomination starting from $10 to $500, and they never expire.

"It is exciting to see more of the top household brand names join us," said Jason Wolfe, CEO of GiftCards.com in a statement. "We have been leading the migration to digital channels and it is reassuring to see merchants of this size and caliber join us in our mission."

At NGC, you can now purchase Bloomin' Brands e-gift cards. The Outback Steakhouse Gift Card from Bloomin' Brands is valid for use at all U.S. locations of Bonefish Grill, Carrabba's Italian Grill, and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. The gift cards and e-gift cards are available in denominations of $25, $50, and $100. 

Additionally, if you purchase gift card and e-gift cards from Bass Pro Shops through NGC through Monday, June 15, you will receive a 3-percent bonus on all U.S. orders. Bass Pro Shops has 55 Outdoor World Stores that are outfitted with the latest boats, camping equipment, fishing and hunting supplies, and outdoor apparel. The 3-percent bonus will be automatically applied to all invoices from May 18 to June 15.
