B2B gift card solution provider National Gift Card is expanding its offerings to incentive planners and the B2B marketplace in general with the launch of a new partnership with Apple and iTunes digital gift cards. NGC's web application programming interface (API) will provide incentive managers with a secure source for iTunes and Apple Music codes, to source the gift cards in real-time, and promises an enhanced customer service experience.

"National Gift Card is honored to now offer iTunes and Apple Music Codes via a direct connection to service the B2B loyalty, rewards, incentive and employee marketplace," said Eric Thiegs, president of National Gift Card, in a statement. "We're now able to better service businesses and programs that have been looking for a secure and real-time source of iTunes and Apple Music Codes via an API with NGC."

Security remains a top concern for gift card providers in both the incentive and consumer spaces, and this partnership aims to alleviate that with its direct API to Apple and iTunes. Clients will be able to send the music codes to program participants at any time of the day and in real-time, in denominations ranging from $5 to $500. The NGC offering will also allow for the awarding of Apple Music membership codes, providing recipients with three- and 12-month subscriptions to the music service (or extending their renewal, for those who are already members).

This is just the latest offering from NGC, which provides digital and physical gift cards for more than 300 brands including Starbucks,, Bass Pro Shops, and others, in categories ranging from Entertainment to Home Improvement to Luxury and Spa.
