National Gift Card Corp (NGC) is aiming to make business easier for retailers that want to enter and expand their gift card business. The Crystal Lake, IL-based incentive gift card supplier and marketer last week announced the launch of the Retail Partner Gift Card Agency, a service aimed at providing a wide range of services and turnkey solutions to NGC's more than 450 gift card brands.

Among the services the new agency will provide are lead management, lead generation, client vetting, fraud protection, marketing support, and tailored sales campaigns. NGC also hopes to simplify fulfillment and processing for its partners with services including bulk fulfillment, direct-to-recipient fulfillment, warehousing and inventory management (for both physical and digital cards), card printing, and client order/payment processing. This will be provided through NGC's 52,000-square-foot fulfillment facility and global fulfillment infrastructure. 

"As our list of B2B clients continues to grow, we heard an increasing need from our retail partner brands for services that go beyond fulfilling their gift cards or eCodes," said NGC President Eric Thiegs. "We've been helping retailers quietly behind the scenes for over a decade with their gift card programs and realized it was time to formally enhance this area of our capabilities with additional staff, platforms and services ready to support merchants of any size with their gift card sales and fulfillment."

NGC is promising to activate its network of more than 2,000 corporate clients and API systems behind the effort. More information about the new offering -- aimed at both regional and national gift card brands -- can be found at its dedicated website.
