The newest all-in-one "smart card" to debut is Stratos Card, which allows users to combine their plastic cards - credit, debit, loyalty, membership, and gift cards - all into a single Stratos Card for use wherever traditional cards are accepted.

Similar to Coin and Plastc, Stratos Card can store up to three main cards on its physical card at one time but unlike its competitors, it can also suggest other cards in your inventory to use at certain locations through its app and GPS location technology. For example, if you have a Starbucks gift card and you're near a Starbucks, the app will alert you. Cards are swiped and added to the app using a card swipe attachment that is similar to the one used by Coin.

Users can also easily switch out cards when you need to using the app and they can also set a security timer so that if your card doesn't detect your phone for a certain amount of time, it will automatically lock down.

Unlike competing smart cards, however, Stratos does not use chip and PIN security technology currently but the company says it will be coming out with new cards that include that technology soon. It also charges an annual $95 membership fee (or $145 for a two-year membership) and users receive a new card each year.

Stratos Card is now available for order on and will be shipped out in April. It is compatible with both iOs 8 and above, as well as Android 4.3 and above.
