National Gift Card Corp. (NGC), a marketer and supplier of gift cards for use in loyalty, incentive, and rewards programs, has partnered with the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) to supply and fulfill Visa prepaid cards, as a sponsor of hotel room and travel reimbursement programs and the Passport to Winnings program for each trade show hosted by the ASI Show. 

The ASI Show produces five annual regional trade shows in Orlando, Dallas, New York, San Diego, and Chicago for advertising, promotional, and motivational product manufacturers and distributors.

The two companies also recently completed a joint survey of 200 advertising specialty professionals conducted at the ASI Show in Orlando in January and the ASI virtual trade show in March.

One surprising finding is that 89 percent of respondents purchase gift cards directly through merchants and second-party sources, and “fail to take advantage of volume discounts and time-saving purchase, fulfillment, and delivery solutions offered by the industry’s gift card suppliers,” notes Adam Van Witzenburg, NGC's president.

“Many purchasers are missing out on opportunities, and possibly spending more time and money than they have to if gift cards are indeed an important part of their customer’s incentive and loyalty programs, and a huge part of their customers’ overall budgets,” says Van Witzenburg.
