Gift Card Network members are likely to find navigating the organization's website easier than ever. The community of gift card industry stakeholders has announced the launch of a redesigned site aimed at providing quick and easy access to educational and member content and information about industry events, as well as a member directory.

The new site will also provide a platform where current members can post press releases and share company information. The site's backend has also been enhanced to provide better functionality and to spotlight GCN's newest and most relevant content for members, including  a new webinar series and legal podcasts.

"We are excited about our new website launch and the new benefits it provides not only our members, but also the industry at large," said Desiree Wiercyski, GCN marketing manager.

She emphasized that a main goal of the redesign is aimed at increasing member functionality and content, as well as providing easier navigation to better engage visitors and encourage them to interact with one another.

The launch of the new site followed the organization's recent events, GCN Catalyst and Gift Card University, and will serve as an additional tool to extend GCN's educational effort. This includes an extensive Gift Card Education section covering "Gift Card 101 topics (including a B2B overview, manufacturing overview, in-store overview, and more), as well as focuses on more advanced topics and "Think Tank Projects" such as in-store benchmarking. The GCN Education Panel, a group of members dedicated to providing best practices for the gift card industry, will continue to add to this section in the months ahead.

The website also added a new publications section, where GCN and its members post guides and publications. It also includes a legal review section and competitive shop area (where photos of in-store displays and screenshots of online setups are featured), both open only to members.

Wiercyski added, "As the destination for the growing gift card and 'branded currency' technologies, we aim to provide information about what gift card industry leaders are doing, while putting our members at the forefront."
